Today I was outside trying to dye some fabric, and I was suddenly distracted by a huge flock of turkey vultures circling overhead. There were so many, it was an incredible, awe-inspiring sight!

Exploration Art Show

My aunt, Jane, and I are having an art show during March & April at the Beamsville Library. Our opening reception is in a few weeks- March 8th, from 1-4pm. We'd love to have you come out to see our work, chat, & sample some delicious refreshments! I am particularly excited because most of my photos were taken during our bike trip last summer. Jane's work is going to be even more "hot off the press"- many of her pieces have been created especially for this show!

Even though the grapes have already been harvested, to me, these images say "icewine!"
- taken during the ice storm that hit Ontario a few weeks ago.

I had a great time shooting the 2013 International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration in the Niagara area along with Steven Elphick this past summer. Steve shot an amazing book that you can check out in Chapters or online - "Spectacular Wineries of Ontario".
