Blossoms

It was so beautiful when the blossoms were out, not too long ago. I had the chance to go out with my aunt one day to get some shots. I've had a very hard time picking my favorites, but here are some!

Lovely Lilacs

There has been so much going on lately! I've been able to work on a variety of interesting different jobs lately, and at the same time there are so many changes happening outside. Every day something else is flowering or budding. There are so many cute young animals showing up in the fields & bushes. Spring is so exciting!
The other day I was up earlier than I needed to be for work, and so I spent the extra time on a hike up at Ball's Falls to catch the lilacs in bloom. I think it's one of my favorite times of the year to visit there.

Crisp Beauty

We enjoyed a great time up at the cottage with friends this past weekend, and I was able to get some shots of the gorgeous Saturday evening sunset and Sunday morning's sunrise.

When the sun rose over the trees, everything lit up like it was coated in gold..

I thought -7 was chilly (see last post), but it's nice and crisp at -20 C!

Fleeting Snow

I ran outside in my snowshoes to enjoy the sunrise and snow yesterday, since these chances are rare. The blueness of the sky reflecting on the snow was incredible! And what a change in temperature from yesterday morning to today! (-7 to +4!)

Fall Sights

This fall has been particularly stunning, and although so far I haven't photographed it as much as I probably should, I am quite enjoying these shots.

A Splendid Suitcase

I needed to test out some new equipment that was given to me tonight, (thanks Steve Elphick!!) and I had to take a photo with this awesome suitcase I borrowed from my aunt. Cheers!
